Andre Dawson

A resounding yes for Hall of Fame. So he only gets two of the Hall of Fame measurements on Baseball Reference. If you look at who Dawson is compared most to, he is compared to 5 Hall of Famers and 5 who are not. I think he deserves to see who the Hall would match up with the Expos or the Cubs. I think it might be cool to see an individual make the Hall of Fame from a franchise that doesn't exist anymore.

As for 2007, the Cubs should and will contend. I'm very statistical and it makes sense that the Cubs should make it back in the playoffs every 4 years. There are 16 teams in the National League and with 4 teams making the playoffs, you should get in the playoffs once every four years. It just makes too much sense to me. And it would be funny to see the Cubs win it 99 years after their last championship. It would be the baseball gods laughing to say, you thought we would make it 100, but we stopped it at 99. I plan on going to many Thursday afternoon games this summer, and I only wish for a winner.
