Cubs 11- Brewers 4

I got to attend both last night and this afternoon's games in Milwaukee. Last night the Cubs looked the 2006 Cubs and won, while today they looked like the 2003 Cubs. The 3 game winning streak was a breath of fresh air, however it should not change the Cubs position as sellers. I almost think that the Wood injury finally told this team that they have to rely on themselves, not some guy coming off the DL to help them win games. As for Wood, I would only sign him to a hugely incentive laden contract for 2007, so we'll just have to see. Go Cubs.

Brewers 2- Cubs 0

The Cubs lost again tonight, this time behind the offense "pitching blaming" Aramis Ramirez. Ramirez himself cost the Cubs a possible great inning, when he tried to stretch a double into a triple, while jogging to first base. You know you're not hustling when Bob Brenly groans at you. Greg Maddux pitched well again tonight and some believe that he will get traded to a contender. Maddux only deserves to get traded if he wants to be traded and that's it. The guy is a Hall of Famer and deserves to do things on his own terms and not let the Cubs screw him for the second time. I'm headed to Milwaukee this weekend for Saturday and Sunday's games. Go Cubs.
